Dear Mom, I really miss you.  How thankful I am to have had you and Dad for 65 years of my life. I think about how young you were when you got married.  Remembering when Dad walked us to Lowe School, and you making goodies for our parties.  I was proud to have such young, handsome parents.  I know it was not easy for you and Dad bringing up twelve children, but I am here to say you did a good job.  The commitment you made to God and yourselves was greater than any problems you faced in your marriage Love conquers all.

The girls became good cooks, wives, and mothers learning to make tamales bunelos, and mole the hardest of the Mexican cuisine.  The boys learned hard work pays off.  We all learned the love of God, and family.  We are not perfect and we all have different personalities.  We thank you for bringing us up right for it was in our struggles and hardships that gave us strength and wisdom in handling every day life.

When Dad went to be with the Lord first, that is how he would have wanted it.  He knew he could not make it here without you. and you passing one month after tells me you could not make it here either.  Sixty-seven years of marriage is a long time Mom.  Thank you for you were the glue of this Family.  The bond we had as children for one another, the love for God, Jesus and family were included in that glue.  We also learned patience, kindness, understanding, and compassion.  Futhermore,we learned  to do what is right and not just what is confortable for us.  Thank you Mom, I Love you  You are always in my heart and someday we will see each other again.

To the entire family, we are so sorry for your loss. There are no words to express what she meant to our family. She will be greatly missed. She and the memories we had with her will stay in our hearts the rest of our lives. May the windows of Heaven just rain down blessings on you all, and the Holy Spirit comfort you in this time. We will continue to keep you in our prayers.

My prayers are with you all.  It was wonderful getting to know your mother as my "Sister in Christ".  May our Lord Jesus Christ forever keep you in His merciful and loving arms.
