I can't remember a time when you weren't a part of my life.   You are just one year older than I, and Uncle Jim is just one year younger.  When I was 6, my family moved away from Tiptonville to Kansas City, and I missed my two young uncles and playmates most of all.  Being so close in age, you two were more like  brothers or very close cousins to me and Patsy.   Patsy and I lived with you in our Watts grandparents' house once when I was in second grade and another time when I was in forth grade,.  Pat and I became city girls, but while living briefly in Tiptonville, you and Uncle Jim took good care of us, making sure we got enough to eat and teaching us so many useful things that city girls didn't know about, (like the proper way to pick up crawdads) and we became little country girls again with yours and Uncle Jim's leadership.  You gave us advice and watched out for us, taking care that no one was going to bully us on the school bus or at school recess.  

Rest in Peace Uncle Phil.  I will forever regret that I didn't see more of you these past few years.  Your beautiful, bright smile, wonderful personality, kind compassion, and selfless generosity to friends and family will be sadly missed and never forgotten.  You are graciously and lovingly remembered by so many people too numerous to count, whose hearts and souls you touched throughout your life.  I'm a grieving niece who must say goodbye to you for now.  I love you immensely and will miss you the rest of my life.  

I met Phil in November, 1970 when I reported to board the USS SOMERS (DDG 34).  Phil worked in the galley and was by far the most outstanding cook that we ever had on the ship! Bar None! It seemed like Phil could be seen at all hours of the day and night working to feed the crew of over 300. Phil was an outstanding sailor, a genuine friend, and above all, an awesome man. Phil would do anything he could to help any sailor at any time. I was hungry many a time during the “midnight watches” and Phil would make sure I had something to eat.  He was someone you could go to when you needed to talk to a good friend. I could tell many funny stories about our times together aboard the ship!  Although it was almost 50 years ago that we met, it seems like only yesterday when I first saw his smiling face.  Phil will be greatly missed by all of us who knew him during his good hearted life. May he now rest in eternal peace at the right hand of our Father forever.

I’m so sorry to hear about Phil. My thoughts and prayers to the boys. Phil was married to my cousin and was always very kind to me. He will be missed.

Phil was a genuine man, friendly, kind, thoughtful, and generous.  He was a special father to his dog Foxy, feeding her one pringle chip at a time after her licked the salt off first, lol that's how she likes them.  I've had some near and dear conversations with Phil  In moments of joy and in moments he was most vulnerable. This past year has been very challenging for him both physically and emotionally and he will be missed, may he rest in peace,  And my heart goes out to his loved ones,  Those that he loved including Marcy mahoney and those who loved him.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Phil and Emily were my wonderful friends whom I loved dearly.  I met Emily in 1976 and Phil at their wedding .   We went to church together and had many adventures through the years.  Such a big hearted good guy.   I will miss you, my friend. 

Phil Watts  was a good landlord if anything breaks  u tell him he b over that's day or the next day he was so sweet  n nice he would let u get behind a month he would let u get caught up the next month R I P Phil Watts u will b missed

Phil Watts  was our landlord n Nellie Landgren  is right if something breaks  u call him n tell him he would b rite over the same day or the next day he was well loved  n he will b well miss from me my mom  n my cousin

Phil was one of the best landlords I ever had he was so kind and nice if you didn't have all your rent he would let you pay what you had and then catch up the following month and I think thing broke down he was always there to fix it or if you had any kind of problems at all he was there to try to fix those as well he is going to be well missed he was well loved by many especially me and my son rest in peace Phil we're all going to miss you
