Quentin Edmund Clark passed peacefully at home Saturday, August 21, 2021. He was a dialysis patient since 2010 three times a week. It finally took its toll. He entered the military February 23, 1943, and was discharged December 28, 1945, as Private First Class with honors.
He married Geraldine Taylor July 3, 1947, until her passing.
Quentin was an accomplished businessman owning Clark’s Appliances since January 1957. He loved his community and was actively involved till he turned that over to his daughter Pam in 1985.
He met Billie Ryle in 2015, he was 90, she 85. She was a large piece of his life till his death.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine; his parents, Leo and Ruth Clark; and brother, Marvin Clark. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Clark; son, Gregory (Joan); grandchildren, August and Taylor; special friend, Billie Ryle; long time caregivers, Kathy and Stephanie Metcalf; and his smallest caregiver Amelia Metcalf.
Celebration of life will be Friday, August 27, 2021, 2:00 P.M., Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., burial immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions for Quentin to Reap (Raytown Emergency Assistance Program) or Raytown Christian Church.
