

RACHEL “PAULINE” (ANTLE) DINGMAN Rachel “Pauline” Antle Dingman, 95, passed away September 8, 2016. Funeral service will be 10am, Saturday, September 17, 2016. Burial will follow. Visitation will begin at 9am at the chapel. Pauline was born Bogard, MO, September 14, 1920, the 10th of 12 children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Clara Biggs; 7 brothers and 4 sisters. Her first husband, Floyd R. Antle, died in 1978, after 33 years of marriage. Pauline graduated from Tina High School and Chillicothe Business College. She was employed by Kansas City Gas Service for 7 years, and thereafter at Montgomery Ward & Company for 17 years until she retired. In 1980 she married Harry D. Dingman. They attended many Ararat Shrine activities, and traveled to many places by car, air and ship. She was a former member of the American Business Women’s Association and the Ararat Shrine Needle Guild. She was a member of the Independence Young Matron’s, the American Legion Auxiliary Post 21, and a long-time member of the Lee’s Summit Christian Church. She enjoyed volunteering when needed, reading, working crossword puzzles and playing cards. She was a member of several bridge and canasta clubs. Survivors include her husband: Harry Dingman of 35 years; daughter, Patricia O’Connor, of Lee’s Summit, MO; stepson, Larry D. Dingman, of Kansas City, MO; stepdaughter, Terry S. Brody, and her husband, Hugh, of Snohomish, WA; granddaughters: Carrie Broome, Hayley O’Connor; stepgrandchildren: Ryan Andelian, Andrea Bismore, Ashley Andelian; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers memorial tributes may be directed to Shriners Childrens Hospitals, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa FL, 33607.
