He was preceded in death by his wife Dianne Watt. He is survived by his three children, Jamie Watt, Laura Wedman, Kathy Watt and husband Michael Funk, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He had many accomplishments in his life including; serving in the Korean War as Captain with the 13th Bomb Squadron “The Grim Reapers” earning the Distinguished Flying Cross and 3 Air Medals, owner of Watt Realty Co, President and Director of U.S Investment Corp., a Director of Boatmen’s Raytown Bank, Topsy’s International, 20th Century Financial Corp, Raytown Chamber of Commerce, Sertoma, Raytown YMCA, Home Builders Assoc. of KC, a member of Raytown Planning and Zoning Commission, Co-owner of Floral Hills Funeral Home & Cemetery, and builder and developer of numerous subdivisions and mobile home parks. Family will hold private graveside service.
