I went to elementary & junior high school with Rebekkah.  I am very sad to hear of her passing.  Her family and friends are in my prayers.

Mrs. Taylor just sparkled and was the ideal teacher to give a firm foundation to my kindergartner as he began his school journey.  I submitted a photo of a favorite memory.  She had the neatest birthday song to sing to the kids on tape. My son has a Halloween birthday and she made sure his celebration didn't get lost among the holiday festivities that day. When I inquired about the song, she said she had gotten it from a veteran teacher while student teaching.  And that sums up Rebekkah...blending the tried and true with the new and innovative to bring her very best self to her students every day.
She had such a gentle way of commanding the student's attention.  And on a rainy, overcast field day, the students all came to school reeking of tropical sunscreen.  Because, of course, "Mrs. Taylor told us to not forget to wear sunscreen!" 
May her family find comfort in a life that made a difference for each and every student who was lucky enough to be in her classroom.

Our hearts and prayers go out to your family at this difficult time.  We miss you already Rebekkah, but know that you are in a wonderful place now without pain and keeping guard over your family from above.

Rebekkah and I taught together at West Englewood.  She was loved by so many students, staff and families.  I remember our conversations about teaching, family, life, but more specifically, her relationship with God.  It is comforting that she's with Jesus and no longer in pain.  May her love for God live on through her memories.

Mrs. Taylor was a true Angel on this Earth while she was here. I was blessed to have her as my daughter's Kindergarten teacher.  My daugther, who will be 13 next month, still remembers her.  My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

I first met Rebekkah when we were both teachers at West Englewood Elementary.  I immediately knew she was born to be a teacher.  Then, when she had her sweet Isaiah I knew she was also born to be a mom.  Even when she had so much personal pain, she found the time to reach out to others.  My prayers are with her family.  I know how much she will be missed.

I worked at West Englewood with Rebekkah.  She was an abolute doll and a wonderful teacher.  Prayers for your family during this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of team teaching with Rebekkah one summer and one of Rebekkah's first years teaching.  We had such fun. It was so great seeing her grow as a teacher. God rest your sweet soul Rebekkah.  We will see you again.  God please comfort your family and surround them with your love.

No words can describe the great deal of sadness I feel for the friends and family of Rebekkah. I was blessed to know her while she worked at West Englewood. She was a bright light i this world and will be greatly missed. Her courage and fight during her battle was inspiring.
