

Rex Allen Yocum, 58, passed away November 26, 2015 at North Kansas City Hospital. Funeral services are 11:00 AM Thursday, December 3rd at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, burial will follow in White Chapel Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. Rex's family requests jeans and boots be worn to all services.
Rex was born January 29, 1957 to Earl Lee and Virginia (Perkey) Yocum in Butler, MO. He had lived in Kansas City for the past 10 years and was a truck driver. Rex enjoyed country music, bowling, playing pool, Bush-Lite, and the great outdoors. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Survivors include his wife, Tonya; son, Josh Yocum; daughter, Melissa Wheeler; step-son, Daunte Winston; step-daughter, Natasha Weddle; his mother, Virginia “Jenny” Kreisel; a brother, Steve Yocum and wife, Kelly; sister, Treca Snyder and husband, Mike; 2 grandchildren, Khia Weddle and Chandler Wheeler; and his two dogs, Baby Doll and Princess.
Rex had many friends. He was considered the nicest, hardest working man you could ever meet; a person who never found bad in anyone.
