RICHARD M. BARLOW SR. Richard M. Barlow Sr., age 81, passed away September 20, 2017. Richard graduated from East High School and was a veteran of the US Army. He worked at the General Motor’s Leeds Plant for over 30 years. A small business owner of Barlow Auto Parts in Independence he also co-owned Fran’s Hairstyling in Raytown for 28 years. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Oswald and Grace and two brothers, James and Robert. He was married to Frances Barlow for 38 years until her passing. He is survived by his brother Frank, and his six children: Richard Barlow Jr., Barbara Stoppelmoor, Jerrie Barlow, Randy Barlow, Christina Angel, and Jeffrey Barlow. He had 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday September 29th at Newcomers Floral Hills at 1:00 p.m. with services following at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be directed to American Lung Association.
