Richard A. Chapman, 92, passed away February 25, 2016. Richard was born August 29, 1923 in Independence, MO the son of Harry and Bobbie (Griffin) Chapman. He served in the United States Army from 1941-1943. He married Charlotte C. Chapman, they shared 45 years of marriage together. She survives of the home. Richard worked for the United States Post Office and retired after 45 years of employment. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Virginia and Conniesue; one brother, Terry Chapman and one son, Larry Chapman. In addition to his wife Charlotte, he is survived by two brothers, Robert Chapman and Raymond Chapman (Rolanda); two sisters, Reba (Robert) and Joan Fetters; three sons, Randy Chapman (Donna), Keith Cusick and Robert Cusick (Valerie); six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 1 pm until service time at 2 pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Burial will follow.
