Richard Lee Gibbins

Rich was born on July 25, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of E. Richard and

Dorothy Gibbins.

Rich worked in the printing industry for the majority of his career. His hobbies included

fishing, hunting and following the Royals and Chiefs. He was a member of Fellowship

Church in Greenwood where he served many years as a deacon.

Rich is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judy Austin Gibbins, Greenwood, MO ,

daughter, Sherry Gibbins (Cale Hoover), Kansas City, son Mike (Cheryl) Gibbins,

Holden, MO, grandchildren, Kyle (Katie) Barnes, Lees Summit, MO,

Bret (Jessica) Barnes, Belton, MO, Matt (Debi) Gibbins, Eureka, MO,

Courtney (Andrew) Thomas, Pleasant Hill, MO, Katilynn (Cord) Stanley,

Glen Carbon, IL, and 8 great grandchildren, Serenity, Colton, Piper, Camden,

Eli, William, Robin, Emmett, sister, Gayle Berger and brother, Don Gibbins.

Rich was preceded in death by his parents, E. Richard and Dorothy Gibbins, son,

Mark Gibbins and grandson, Justin Barnes.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 12th, 10 to 11 am at Fellowship Church,

Greenwood, MO followed by a service . Burial will be at Floral Hills East Cemetery.
