Richard Frank Perkins, 88, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly October 4, 2013. Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
Mr. Perkins was born November 19, 1924 in Kansas City, Missouri. He worked in the service department of Yellow Cab for many years. He retired from Freeley Auto Repair.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Ida, and a daughter, Judi. He is survived by one son, Jay Perkins of Overland Park; one grandson, Blaine (Lisa) Perkins of West Virginia; two brothers, one sister, extended family and friends. Condolences may be offered at www.mtmoriah-freeman.com.
