Robert Maurice Fox

Robert M. Fox, 82, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away February 18, 2018.

He was born September 21, 1935 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of David and Esther Fox. The family relocated to Kansas City where Bob attended Southwest High School. From there he went to Grinnell College from 1952 to 1956. Bob graduated from Kansas City University - School of Law in 1966. He practiced law for 8 years in the Kansas City Area.

Mr. Fox owned and operated Aero Plastics, which he sold in 1976. Following that he founded Aero Leisure Industries; which he ran until he retired in 1995.

Bob was a member of the Ararat Shrine and the Royal Order of Jesters, Court 54. He was a member of Wolf Creek Golf Club and the Kansas City Ski Club. He enjoyed playing golf and gin rummy, as well as traveling in the US and abroad.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Kneale) Fox; daughters, Julie Fox and Tracy (Brian) Cooper; son, Steve (Mary) Fox; his grandsons, Brandon & Michael Cooper and Andrew & Zachary Fox. He is also survived by step-daughters, Lisa (Perry) Fischer of Columbia, Missouri and Lori Matchell of Kansas City, Missouri; granddaughters, Amy Allen of Columbia, Missouri and Leslie Fisher of Jacksonville Beach, Florida; and great-granddaughters, Genna and Josey Allen of Columbia, Missouri.

Private Inurnment will be at the Faith Mausoleum in Mount Moriah Cemetery. Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, February 23, in the Wesley Chapel of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection,13720 Roe Avenue, Leawood Kansas, 66224. A Royal Order of Jesters Court 54 Rose Ceremony will follow.
