Robert W. Lennartz, 81 of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010 in his home. He was born September 7, 1928, in Sedalia, Missouri, son of Leo Joseph and Anna Mae, brother of Joseph. Everyone will remember Bob for his devotion to his family and love for Kansas University Jayhawks. Bob was an Army veteran having served in Japan, and retired as a Management Analyst from the Internal Revenue Service. He is survived by his wife: Mildred M. Lennartz, Children: William M (Winterville, North Carolina), Diane M Heger (McDonough, Georgia), Richard R (Florence, Alabama), and Susan M Wray (Overland Park, Kansas), Step-children: Greg Idleman (Goodyear, Arizona), David Idleman (Odenton, Maryland), Dennis Idleman (Southwick, Massachusetts), Kenneth Idleman (Wichita, Kansas), Cecilia Monteil (Olathe, Kansas), and Steven Idleman (Wichita, Kansas), 23 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and five nephews in St. Louis. Celebration of Life at 9:30AM on Monday, July 5, followed by a funeral Mass at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 16000 W. 143rd Street, Olathe, Kansas, 66062. Burial will be at a later date.
