As a Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Brother-in-law, Uncle Bob, a close Friend and an associate in business, he was highly regarded and loved both personally and professionally.
Robert was born in Philadelphia, as a young boy he grew up with his Grandma in Montana, then as a pre-teen returned to Phili with his Mom and family. Robert stood for integrity, a Patriot, he loved this country as he served his Nation in the U.S. NAVY as a Special Ops "Frog Man" from 1951-1955.
After which, Robert became a Philadelphia Police Officer. He loved being an "on the beat" Cop and a "Motor Bandit" motorcycle Highway Patrol Officer.
After 6 years on the Police Force, Robert discovered he was a natural at being a Salesman and so began an illustrious career in sales and marketing.
From Monsen black & white TVs in Philadelphia to selling national and international products to Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Bed, Bath & Beyond and many more big box retailers with the Holmes Group in Milford, MA., Robert became a highly regarded, respected and successful upper Management Executive throughout the United States and Far East Manufacturers.
Robert loved life. A "Cowboy" at heart, he loved his Lord God Almighty, loved his family, just happy being with Patti, family & friends. Robert loved living in Vermont, skiing, snowmobiling, the beauty of it all. He so enjoyed riding his motorcycle, saddling up for long horseback trail rides, watching movies, the sunsets, dinner parties, great cuisine, simple snacks, Rombauer wine, Canadian cocktails, listening to Elvis, singing Karaoke at home, exercising, working out, hangin’ out, working on house projects, loved his dog Elvis, mowing the yard, bonfires, reading books, lots of books, he loved history, traveling, road trips, the West, more history, he loved football, Eagles and the Chiefs, he loved his family, his friends and his wife. Life was very good to Robert and Robert was very good at living a very full life!
Robert was preceded in death by; his Mom, Miriam Livergood Burke; Grandma, Lauretta Conley Livergood, Grandpa Albert Calita Livergood, Uncles Robert and Clyde Livergood; his In-laws, Tony and Doddie DiPardo along with many more friends and relatives!
Survivors of LIVERGOOD STRONG are: Wife/Soulmate, Patti DiPardo-Livergood; K9 Elvis; Daughters, Ivette Martin; Donna-Linda McFadden (Brian); Son, Rob Livergood (Beth); Brother, Eddie Burke; Brother-in-laws, Anthony DiPardo (Susan); Jim DiPardo; Nephews, Anthony DiPardo, Jr. (Marcie); Michael DiPardo; Grandkids, Crystal Scheiber (Rick), Nina Stewart, Jeremy Stewart (London), Brianne Hart (Kevin), Tim Stewart, Kyra Livergood, Great-Grandchildren, Great-Nephews , Cousins along with Best Friends, Bob & Penny Mais/Family, John & Brenda Cianciolo and many loving, caring friends & associates whose lives have been heavily impacted by Robert Livergood.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, January 10th at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. A Viewing will take place on Friday, January 11th from 10:00am to 11:00am followed by an 11:00am Funeral Service at the Funeral Home. A Horse Drawn Processional will occur at 12:00pm with Burial Service at the Chapel of Hope with Full Military Honors at 12:30pm in Mount Moriah Cemetery. This will be followed by a Social Gathering at 1:30 pm at the funeral home.
