Ronald Richard "Rick" Butler

Ronald “Rick” Butler, 57, Liberty, MO passed away July 6, 2016. Funeral services are 7:00 PM Monday, July 11th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, visitation 5-7 PM. Contributions to assist family with medical expenses appreciated.

Rick “Lick” was born June 28, 1959 in Great Bend, KS his family moved to the Kansas City area where they have lived for the past 48 years. He graduated from Winnetonka High School class of “1977” with his wife and love of his life, Rosie. He was an over-the-road truck driver for more than 30 years which turned into a passion. Some of Rick’s other passions included riding motorcycles, spending time with his family and pestering the rest of us. Rick spent the past 2 years working for T.L.C. Logistics. He was preceded in death by step-fathers, Dick Holt and William Washington; his grandparents, Edwin and Lydia Grow, and Leo and Lucille Butler; his aunt and uncle, Jan and Britt Wallen; and cousin, Randy Mark Dolezal.

Survivors include his wife, Rosie Butler; sons, Josh wife Jessica and Travis wife Karrie Butler; mother, Marie Holt Washington; brothers, Edwin Butler and Anthony Holt; sister, Susann Goodson; grandchildren, Christian Shaffer, Brayden “Scooter”, Drake, Blake, Darian, Rivey, Bella, and Emma Butler; nieces and nephews, Christopher Holt, Serin, Lilly and Jack Butler; and great niece, Eva Holt.
