

Rose Anne Bybee, 75, Kansas City, died March 26, 2014 at her home. She was born near Milan, MO on August 27, 1938 to Eugene and Kassie (Frazier) Sterling, the youngest of nine children. She graduated from Milan High School in 1956 and came to Kansas City to work.
She belonged to St Patrick’s Catholic Church and their Altar and Rosary Society. She served as a Hospital Eucharistic Minister for 31 years.
Known as Rosie by her family and friends, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She opened her home and heart to friends and family and offered a place to stay if they were in need.
She was preceded in death in 1995 by her husband, Gene Bybee, her parents; three brothers, Charles, Robert, and Edward Sterling; three sisters, Mary Ruth Winn, Betty Krupa, and Marguerite Campbell. She is survived by her three children; Larry (Linda) Bybee, Dennis (Paula) Bybee and Kathleen (Brian) Basham, three granddaughters and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Tony Sterling, one sister Honey Michael and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 1:30 PM at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City. A visitation will precede the service, beginning at 12:00 Noon. Burial at Resurrection North Cemetery.
Her many friends were treated like family. She gave love and was loved in return. She is greatly missed. Arr. McGilley Antioch Chapel.
