Roselia Hiatt, 98, a lifelong resident of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026 surrounded by her sons. Roselia was born on July 31, 1927 and was one of four daughters to Louis and Katie Marino and the last of her siblings to pass on.
Roselia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Vincent Hiatt. She is survived by her four sons Louis Hiatt and wife Mary Kay, Dan Hiatt and wife Martha, Larry Hiatt, John Hiatt and wife Megan. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Roselia's enjoyment was caring unselfishly for family, her friends or Christ the King Parishioners in need of her time and talents. She shined hosting holidays for all to gather around the table with laughter. No one left empty handed as she was generous and shared the bounty. She was a graduate of Boone Elementary School and East High School.
On February 19, 2026, a visitation will begin at 9:30am, with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131. Burial at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Villa St. Francis Catholic Care Center, 16600 W. 126th St., Olathe, KS 66062, Christ the King Catholic Church, 8510 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64114 or St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
