Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl Eugene Bateman, as well as her five brothers and five sisters.
She is survived by her four children: Larry Bateman (Virginia), Wayne Bateman (Isabel), Carla Beth Moreira (Miguel), and Paula Doughty (John). She also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren—Ryan, Stacy, Amy, Jonathan, Michael, Carlos, and Andrew—and ten beloved great-grandchildren: Christian, Grayson, Claire, Colton, Adwin, Colin, Aaron, Greyden, Abram, and Adalynn.
Ruth cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a devoted homemaker who found great joy in caring for her family. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed reading, quilting, and working on puzzles.
She will be remembered for her deep love of God and her dedication to serving her church, friends, and neighbors. Ruth was a faithful member of Parkview Congregation of the Community of Christ.
Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
