Ruth Teresa Boyd, 87, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on February 16, 2018.
Visitation will be held Saturday February 24, 2018 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City Missouri with a memorial service will follow at 3:00pm.
Ruth was born on March 3, 1930 in Wisconsin. She married her husband Arthur Boyd in 1954 and were married for 54 years. She was very active in her children’s school, she was involved in the PTA and was a dedicated room mom.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She is survived by her sons; Steven (Lori) Boyd and, John (Lynn) Boyd, grandchildren; Lacy (Dan) Brown, MJ Lawrence, Erica (Onie) Chambers, Brandon Boyd and, Austin Boyd, great-grandchildren; Elizabeth Chambers, Chance Brown, Colby Brown, and Easton Chambers.
