Ruth E. Smith, 90, passed away August 17, 2016. Visitation will be from 9-10 AM Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Floral Hills Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 10 AM. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Ruth was born in Hepler, Kansas and had lived in this area since 1948. She worked as an electronics assembler for Wilcox Electric for 27 years. She attended the Peoples Church, K.C., MO. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon; a son, Lester and a daughter, Bonnie.
