Sally Sue Young, 48, Kansas City, MO passed away Dec. 9, 2013. Memorial service 10:00AM on Friday,Dec.13 at St. John's Methodist Church, 6900 Ward Pkwy, interment following in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Contributions to Rose Brooks or Lee A Tolbert Academy. Sally was born in Salina,KS Sept 19, 1965 to Rich and Janice (Muffy) Young. She graduated 1984 from Bishop Miege HS; and Magna Cum Laude from TSU, Nashville,TN. She taught school in MO and Shawnee Mission Schools, most recently at the Lee A Tolbert Academy, Kansas City, MO. Preceded in death by father, Rich Young. Survivors: daughter, Evie Marshall; mother & stepfather, Rod and Janice Young Miller, Kansas City; sister, Deena Blake(Spike),Prairie Village, KS; step-sister, Diane Miller; step-brother, Bart Miller,Phoenix,AZ; step-brother, Randy Miller,Mpls,MN; nieces, Emy, Abby, Lucy and Daisy Blake, Prairie Village,KS; and her daughter's father, Skip Marshall.
