Sam was such a wonderful soul. Every time I talked to her, she was always so happy and sweet to visit with. May her beautiful memories help to comfort you all.

The moment I met Sam, I felt an instant connection to her - I even remember us both being on the hunt for a new apartment in KC and seriously considering being roommates, even though we had just met. I'm so grateful that a friend of ours from UMKC introduced us. I was going through a rough breakup and you magically appeared and selflessly supported me through it. I'll forever cherish memories of the best camping trip to the Rockies, to taking an introductory pottery class, and the countless girls' nights spent together.

I'll always wish I would have told her just how much she meant to me, but now, all I can do is hope she knew. 

I love and miss you, Sam.

Sam and I met as colleagues at the firm.  Everyday she made it her mission to annoy me in some shape or form, but in reality she made me laugh and smile - that was her real mission. Our friendship was effortless.  She was genuine, full of personality and most importantly full of so much potential. My sweet Sam, it was only a few days ago that we were making plans to see eachother again. I will cherish our memories and forever remember your beautiful blue eyes and smile. You are incredibly missed and loved. Be at peace my friend,  until we meet again. 

Sam and I, low key, first met each other at our first communion. Our friendship was really forged in high school, though. Sam asked me in our freshman year of high school to walk with her at graduation. I told her yes. Despite not being as close, our senior year she still wanted to walk with me. Sam was such a genuine, caring, and reliable friend. I had so many fun times with her. The memories I have are so beautiful. From the trip we took to LA, to traveling to OH with my family, to the weekend I spent at the lake with you and your grandparents, it was always a great time when we were together. I’ll forever cherish her friendship because she was the kind of friend you wouldn’t see for a while, but when we got back together, it was like we’d never been separated. I love you, Sam. Thanks for being such a great friend. 

I’ve been looking back at photos of us from middle school and high school with our friends but this memory is my favorite. Sam helped me during one of my hardest times as an adult and I am so thankful for that. She helped me regain my happiness and confidence, and she truly was an amazing friend. My heart is with her and her family through this difficult time. I miss you, Sam. ❤️

So very sorry to hear of Sam's passing.  My sincerest sympathy to her  family.   Dani,Nick, Erin, Connie and Lindon please know that you and  Sam are in my thoughts and prayers.  Haven't seen her in a while, but will always remember the sweet little girl who used to visit her dad.  

We are all so sorry to learn of your loss and hope that time will bring you rest!  I have heard only kind words spoken about this beautiful young woman...


Sam was wonderful in so many ways, but more than anything, I admired her authenticity. She was fun, thoughtful and passionate, and on countless occasions she’d challenge me to think differently. I am so sad that the world has lost such a beautiful human. My thoughts are with her loved ones.

I only met Sam a few times when we were little through her Dad but, she was a sweetheart and a kind human. I hope her family and friends find peace eventually and I know they’ll be reunited with her some day.

I worked with Sam at the law firm.  She was a person with an extraordinary personality and extraordinary talent.   She deeply cared about others.   Sam’s infectious smile will forever live in our hearts.  Our profound condolences and prayers go out to the family.     



I had the great pleasure of making so many memories with Sam and her siblings growing up at the lake. So many fun times at the lake enjoying the water and quad rides. Sam was such a beautiful soul who is gone way too soon.

Sam and I had so many fun times together beginning at the start of high school when we met in Theatre class and continued through college at UMKC. She helped me study for my Psychology exams when that wasn’t even her major, she was just so smart and so eager to help me plus I think we just liked hanging out on campus together, people watching. I loved playing tennis with her when the weather was nice, she was so much better at it than me. We laughed so much together and shared the same love of cooking. I’m so sad to have lost her and I’ll cherish those memories forever. My heart is with your family. I’ll miss seeing your beautiful blue eyes Sam. 

Sam will always be in our hearts, praying for peace and comfort for her family and friends. Papa Linden and Grandma Connie will love you till the end of our days. We know we will see you again.
