Scott E. Porter

Scott E. Porter, 58, passed away on May 2, 2018, after living with cancer off and on since he had been given the gift of life at age 19. He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Marjorie Porter.

Scott was born on June 27, 1959 and lived most of his life in the Raytown and surrounding areas. He worked for the Local 27 Asbestos and Insulation Union. He was an avid sportsman and wherever he went, his dog "Josie" was right there.

He is survived by his sister Donna (Leon) and brother Bill (Lin); niece and nephews, and partner June McDowell.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
