Stuart “David” Phillips, 36, passed away December 14, 2015. Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a local animal shelter or favorite charity of your choice in his name.
David was born May 28, 1979 in Overland Park, KS. He graduated from Rockhurst High School and attended John Carroll University. He loved the Chiefs and Royals, music, animals, working on computers and helping Nannie in the garden. David was the king of nickel knowledge and could quote any movie. He will always be remembered for his ability to make everyone and anyone laugh.
He is survived by his lifetime love Jennifer Wilson and their beloved dog, “Bailey”; mother Sheryl Hooghem Phillips; father Stuart Michael Phillips and stepmom Sam Phillips; grandmother “Nannie”, Joan Kerdoff; sister Kathryn Phillips and brother-in-law Chris Powell; nieces Kaylee Phillips, Wrigley and Ivy Powell; stepsisters Erika Jones and Nikkii Keeney; extended family and friends.
