Teresa Laguna Marquez, 49, of Kansas City, MO passed away March 28, 2016. A visitation will be on Wednesday, April 6th from 6-8 pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 5106 St. John Ave, Kansas City MO 64123. Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 7th at 10:00 am, also at church. A graveside will follow at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Teresa was born on October 5, 1966 in Huejucar Jalisco, Mexico. She was a beautiful wife, mother and grandmother with a heart of gold who had a joy for life and a strong faith. She loved her job at the Westin Crown Center in Kansas City, MO and was a faithful member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church. Teresa was preceded in death by her beloved brother Marcelo, her grandmother Mercedes, her grandfather Cuco and her dear father Albertano. She is survived by her husband Carlos Laguna, three daughters, Stephanie, Karen and Jessica Laguna, as well as two grandsons Malachyie and Angel Stevens whom she lived for.
