

Thomas Raymond Bruegging, 56, passed away January 18, 2016 at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Visitation is from 9-10 AM Friday, January 22nd at Holy Family Catholic Church, 919 NE 96th St, Kansas City, MO where a rosary will be prayed at 10:00 AM immediately followed by the Funeral Mass. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Leukemia Foundation. Please consider being a bone marrow/stem cell donor in Tom’s memory.
Tom was born October 23, 1959 in Kansas City, MO to Raymond and Mary Catherine Teson Bruegging. He received a Catholic education from elementary through college when he received a MBA from Rockhurst University. On August 12, 2000 he married Jacqueline Miller at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church. Currently Tom was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, a former member of the Knights of Columbus and Toast Masters at Hallmark. He retired from Hallmark following more than 35 years of employment and was honored in the Finance Spotlight 2010. He was a loyal Kansas City Royals and Chiefs fan. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Catherine Bruegging; and a brother, Mike Bruegging.
Survivors include his loving wife, Jacqueline Bruegging; daughter, Amanda Bruegging and partner Matt Kirkland; sister, Kathleen Bruegging and husband, Ray Raymond and their two children, Will and Nate Raymond; a brother, David Bruegging; sister-in-law, Dana Bruegging; and nephew, Matt Bruegging.
