Tom Phelps, 50, Kansas City, passed away at home on March 28, 2017. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, April 22 at 11:00 AM at First Church of the Nazarene, 11811 State Line Road, Kansas City. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 10:00 AM.
Tom was born August 16, 1966 to Robert and Myrtle (Rippee) Phelps in Kansas City, MO. He was a life-long resident of the Kansas City area, but he did travel the world during his time in the Air Force. For many years, he worked as a Security Guard at Union Station. In addition, he was a periodic volunteer at Spay and Neuter of Kansas City.
Tom is preceded in death by his father, Robert. Survivors include his mother, Myrtle, a sister, Lisa Phelps, and brother, Bryan Phelps.
