Tony Oliver LaVine Sr., born in Springfield, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at the age of 79, leaving his wife Pauline LaVine of 52 years, his 3 children, 10 grandchildren, and 7 great- grandchildren. He was one of our country's heroes who proudly served in the Korean War and was a Fireman for over 39 years in Kansas City, a job that he truly loved. Services will be held at McGilley Chapel located at 12301 State Line on Friday, June 17. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. Funeral begins at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
