Viola “Vi” Clark, 95, of Overland Park, KS passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on January 23, 2019. Visitation will be Sunday, January 27 from 2-4pm, and the Funeral at 10am on Monday, January 28 at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO.
Vi was born in Silver Lake, KS where she met her husband Raphael “Ray” Clark. They were happily married 56 years and had a daughter, Cheryl. Vi worked for TWA 30+ years and received Employee of the Year award in 1976. The family enjoyed traveling the world. Vi and Ray were great dancers and Vi continued to attend dances into her 90’s.
Vi was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; her parents, Harold and Martha Immenschuh; and her sister, Althea Keller. Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Walsh (Harry); grandchildren Kevin Walsh (Sarah) and Shannon Adair (Jake); great grandson Luke Walsh; and brother Charles Immenschuh (Mary Ann).
Family and friends will remember Vi as an avid KU fan and as always joking, laughing, and loving life.
