VIOLET M. PAYNE Violet M. Payne, age 96, passed away on June 14, 2015. Funeral 2PM Thursday, June 18 at Floral Hills, visitation 1PM. Burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. She was born in Stockton, California, and moved to the area in 1925. She worked for Lloyd Ketcham olds for 11 years and retired from Midwest Finance in 1986. She was a member of Beaumont Baptist Church, Kansas City, MO. She worked for the Oak Grove School District in the Day Care Center from 1987 to 2005. She was a member of the Oak Grove Lion’s Club. Violet was preceded in death by husband Eugene P. Payne, grandson Timothy in 2005, 2 sisters Marguerite and Ruth Lewis. She is survived by son Gary D.
