Virgil E. Jones, Jr. of Peculiar, MO passed away August 10th, 2014. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Thursday, August 14th, 2014 at Mount Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO. A graveside service will be at 2:30 pm Friday, August 15th, 2014 at Mount Moriah Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Mary Lou Jones; his parents; and sister, Virginia Garvey. Virgil is survived by: daughter, Julie Winkert (Charlie); granddaughter, Jenn Schuckenbrock (Matt), grandson, VJ Winkert (Sarah); great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Paige Winkert, Parker Grace Schuckenbrock, and Ty Owen Winkert; life-long friends, Bruce & Carole Gillespie.
