My deepest condolences on the passing of Uncle Butch, sending prayers and hugs💕

Just learned of Uncle Butch's passing.   He was the kindest and most  compassionate man.  Always positive,  always had a smile to share.  
Many fond memories.   Thanks for being a super Uncle, and brightening so many lives with your faith & strength.

So very sorry to hear of Butch’s passing!  Butch was a wonderful person; always positive and fun.  He was a joy to be around!
In my Pella days, he was always so kind.  You never had a negative thought when you were with Butch! Life was always brighter around him.

Sending my heartfelt sympathy to Bev, Anne,Mimi and Bill.  I met Butch in August 1987 when he and Bev delivered Anne, my roommate and best friend, to NWMSU.  He was upbeat, friendly, smiled a lot and joked around.  I spent several weekends in Carroll with the Arts’.   Such a loving family - with Butch as a great leader for them.   Sending hugs and much love to all the family.

Our deepest sympathy to you Bev, Anne, Mimi and Bill. My heart goes out to you. 😢. He will be so missed.  We have many memories with Butch and you, Bev. Many good memories in those Pella days!  Us Bev’s had to hang together or rather, we got to hang together!☺️.   Never will be another guy like Butch!  A great guy and we’ll always remember him with a smile.  We’ll be keeping you in our prayers as you, as a family journey through this very difficult time.  Lean on each other and on God.   May Butch rest in God’s peace and may you find strength, peace and comfort in Gods loving embrace.

MANY FOND MEOMORIES OF BUTCH AT ROLSCREEN ARMS IN PELLA, IOWA.  I LIVED WITH BUTCH FOR ABOUT 4 MONTHS IN PELLA.  RETURN TO CARROLL ON WEEKENDS.  REMEMBER ONE INSTANCE WHEN WE WERE RETURNING FROM PELLA TO CARROLL IN A TERRIBLE SNOW STORM.  BUTCH WAS DRIVING AND I ACTUALLY HAD THE PASSENGER DOOR OPEN TO SEE THE SIDE OF THE ROAD.  WHAT NORMALLY TOOK 2 1/2 HOURS TOOK US 5 1/2 HOURS.  WE WERE JUST GOING UP THE STREET TO BUTCH'S WHEN THE ENGINE ON THE COMPANY CAR CAUGHT FIRE.  MANY MORE EXPERIENCES WITH BUTCH.  MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE AND MAY THE PEPPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON HIM.
