Bill Basile, 79, passed 7/11/2016 at home in Mesa, AZ. Bill was born and raised in Kansas City, the first child of Tony and Iva Basile. He graduated in 1955 from Paseo High School. For 36 years he was a Sales Account Manager for the American Beauty Macaroni Company and eventually for the Pillsbury Company in St. Paul, MN and Omaha, NE. Bill served as head usher at Bethany Baptist Church in Omaha. He always had a smile for everyone. A successful business man and Husker fan, Bill will be remembered most as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 57 years, Nancy (Frick) Basile; oldest daughter, Rebecca Kinzel and her husband Timothy; and youngest daughter Cynthia Stevens; as well as two loving granddaughters, Jessica and Jennifer, who knew him as PaPa. He was a loving brother to Joan Basile and Sherry Frick. Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Basile and his parents. There will be a Remembrance of Life Ceremony at Floral Hills, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO Friday 7/22: 1 pm visitation with Service at 2 pm.
