William Rudolph Betker, 86, passed away September 9, 2016 at Garden Valley Manor. Funeral services are 1:00 PM Monday, September 12th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel where a visitation will begin at 12:00 PM. Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Monday at the Higginsville City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to St. James Lutheran Church.
William was born January 6, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY. He was a chemist for Bayer Pharmaceuticals. For many years William was a professional ballroom dancer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie in 1991. William was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church, Kansas City, MO
Survivors include cousins, Eric Siebert and Lydia Weiss.
