William Bradley, Jr., 88, of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away August 26, 2012. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 30, at Legacy Christian Church, 10150 Antioch Road, Overland Park, Kansas 66212. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Johnson County. Mr. Bradley was born July 10, 1924 in Peculiar, Missouri, son of William P. and Roberta Bradly. He married Donna Arnold on December 31, 1950. Mr. Bradley served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II with the 34th Texas Division. He was awarded the Bronze Star with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters. Mr. Bradley had worked as a switchman with the Santa Fe Railroad for almost 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and eleven brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Donna Bradley; daughter Sandra White and husband Gary of Overland Park, Kansas; grandchildren Joli Wimer (Doug), Overland Park, Kansas and Kris White (Natalie), Henderson, Nevada; and great-grandchildren Ben, Joe, Mackenzie and Michael; extended family and friends.
