William Milton Deal

William was a loving husband and amazing and wonderful father and grandfather. Hard working and kind to all, giving them the respect they deserve. He had a successful career as a pro ball player for the Dodgers and later served as a Kansas City Missouri police officer for 30 years, followed by 10 years as a Sugar Creek Missouri police officer where he retired in 1988.

He is survived by his spouse Annette Deal, 3 siblings Clifford Deal and his spouse Marleen, Delores Parsons, and Betty Brown, 4 children William Deal Jr. and his spouse Diane, Deborah McCloud, Gregory Deal, and Deanna Miller and her spouse Maxwell, along with 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandson. William was preceded in death by his parents William H. Deal and Edith Deal.

A service to honor his life will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home visitation will start at 9:00 AM followed by service at 10:00 AM located at 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd. Kansas City, Missouri 64133. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Interim Healthcare Hospice.

Directly following a celebration of life to be held at the American Legion post 21 at 16701 E. US Highway 40 Independence Missouri 64055 from 12:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
