William Dale Drury Jr.

Bill leaves behind his wife, Melinda Drury, his mother, Dorothy Drury, and brother Doug Drury (Brenda). He also leaves behind a son William “Billy” Drury III (Carlie) of Niles, Ohio, two stepdaughters, Ashley Easley and Ronnie Lacy of Kansas City, Missouri. His grandchildren included two grandsons, Christopher and Ezekiel, along with four granddaughters Legacy, Loyalty, Amani and Emilia.

Bill was an operating engineer for the local 101 IUOE. Bill enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren as well as vacationing on a beach or near water any chance he got. Bill was loved by many for his kind heart and sense of humor. He was such a strong believer in family that he treated everyone as his own.

A visitation for William will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM. A committal service will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery South.
