William "Bill" Lee Manley

Bill was born September 16, 1950 in Cherry Valley, Illinois to Raymond and Mina Manley. Bill proudly served our country in the Marines Corps. Then continuing to serve as a Raytown Police officer and finally retired from the United States Postal Service.

Bill had a sweet tooth for candy and for life itself. He loved routing on his favorite sports teams. The Bears and Cubs and of course the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, all while enjoying some candy corn or Oreo's.

Bill met Sue Manley in 1983 where they began their lives together and blended their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Mina Manley, brother Mark Manley and sister Cinda Weiss

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Sue Manley. Siblings Jim Manley, Mac Manley, Marcia Davis, Penny Kilcheski and Becky Wendt. His 5 children Scott (Katherine) Bresette, Chad (Julie) Bresette, Tommy (Melissa) Manley, Shanna (Doug) Kilgore, and LaDonna (Jimmy) Smith. His 12 grandchildren Kristy (Kevin), Brittany (Daniel), Bradley, Madysen, Lydia, Jordan, Nathan, Issac, Miller, Charleigh, Jamie and Dalton as well as his 3 great-grandchildren, Peyton, Easton and Ella.

Bill will be missed by all who have come to know his wit, generosity, exuberant joy, graciousness and above all his kindness.
