

A visitation for Parker is scheduled from 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, May 7th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 8th at the Freedom Church of Christ Cemetery, Montreal, MO. Parker (as everyone called him) was born on August 20, 1925 to Ernest Randolph and Thelma L. (Austin) McNeill in Delta, CO. He attended Anderson Hollow Elementary School and graduated from Line Creek High School, Class of 1943. Right after graduation Parker joined the U.S. Navy and served our country during World War II. He received a Letter of Commendation for his services.
In 1946, he married his high school sweetheart Carleen L. Selby. Throughout their seventy-one plus years of marriage they did a lot of traveling and together enjoyed life to its fullest. Carleen preceded him in death in February of 2018.
In 1948 Parker moved to Kansas City to work for Trans World Airlines. He was employed by them for 30 years of service as a Aero Mechanics, Engine, and Airframe licensed technician. In 1977 Parker received the Trans World Airlines Award of Excellence and traveled to Paris France to receive this award. He also appeared in a magazine on Trans World 1977 Award of Excellence.
Parker is survived by many nephews, nieces, two good friends Rex Graves and Earl Reynolds, and numerous other friends. In addition to his wife, Parker was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Leo, and a sister, Barbara.
Parker attended Heartland Church of Christ in Kansas City, MO. His family and friends are so appreciative and extend their thanks to both Preferred Home Care and Kansas City Hospice for their compassionate care of Parker.
