William F. “Steve” Stevens, Jr., 92, Lenexa, KS, passed away August 18, 2015 at Olathe Hospice House. Visitation will be from 5:00-6:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 24, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. There will be a reception following the service at Greenwood Terrace, 11150 Greenwood, Lenexa, KS 66215. Burial will be in Cross Timbers, MO on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with a reception following at the Cross Timbers Christian Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Olathe Hospice House.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents Eula and ‘Tot’ and a granddaughter Dawn Elizabeth Matthews. He is survived by his wife Doris (Holliday) Stevens; daughters Marilyn, Maria, Marlene & Jon, and Melanie & Mark; grandchildren Heather & Geno, Adam, Meghan, Cody, Nicole and Jamon; great-grandchildren Avery, Jack and Hayden; extended family and friends.
