Zac’s born day was July 8th, 1994 to his Maa, Cathleen, and father, Jimmie Henderson. Raised in the slopes of Phoenix, Arizona he spent the last three years of his adult life residing in Kansas City, Missouri. In typical Zac fashion, he arrived in this world early and left it far too soon, doing things truly on his own time.
When it came to family, titles meant nothing. If he loved you, that was it, you were family, and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for you. From FaceTime check ins, being the family Uber, caring for Moma, officiating weddings, to even helping people move, he would show up for his family and friends even without being asked. Zac was raised by a few of the toughest men so he was not afraid to speak his mind. He never hesitated to let you know if you were acting crazy. As only he could, Zac could humble you and bring you back to earth in the same comment. When it came time to move across the country to bring his family back together he was unstoppable. His influence was immense, and his love and personality played a role in helping to shape what this family is today.
He enjoyed time with family and friends. Star Wars, anything Marvel/DC related, KC Chiefs, concerts, and gaming was how he spent his time, and through these hobbies he met the love of his life, Tay. Zac and Tay were true soulmates. Zac cared so deeply about his people that on the day he passed he was more concerned as to why everyone was there and not at work. He will be missed deeply, and new challenges will arise, but as Zac would say, “We’ll figure it out. Word.”
