“Bill” William Anthony Herrmann II went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 5, 2016, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Bill was born in St.Louis, Missouri and shared fond memories growing up with his four siblings. After graduating high school at John F. Kennedy Memorial, Bill attended the University of Missouri’s School of Business. It was there that he met the love of his life, Sally Dwyer, and decided to move to Texas to start a career and family. Bill’s financial career in Houston started as a controller at MacGregor Medical, and then he went on to be a very successful CFO with Berkley Eye Center for 13 years. After his successes in business and finance, he retired to a life of real estate, farming, and investing, a passion of his that started at a very young age. Throughout their 37 years together, Bill and Sally had 3 children, Trey, Scott, and Melissa. As a family they enjoyed many years of sporting events, hunting, traveling, and ranch weekends before welcoming 8 beautiful grandchildren into this world. His last few years, he made many fond memories sitting on the back porch talking politics and investing, and telling the grandkids his John Wayne stories. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, William and Patricia Herrmann of St. Louis, Missouri. Bill leaves behind his wife “Sally” Sarah Dwyer Herrmann, his son “Trey” William A. Herrmann III and wife Amber, his son Scott E. Herrmann and wife Ashley, his daughter Melissa Ann Baudoin and husband Blaec, and eight grandchildren; Will, Koen, Wayne and Kortlynn Herrmann; Deuce and Adelyn Herrmann; and Braeden and Lyla Ann Baudoin. Our Pops will be greatly missed but will remain forever in our hearts.
There will be a visitation on Sunday, April 10th from 3-5pm at New Hope United Methodist Church 26104 Schnieder Rd, Waller, Tx 77484.
