

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Rhoda Suddath, and by his sister, Dorothy Suddath of Miami, Florida. Bob is survived by his wife, Lee Suddath of Katy, Texas, daughter Leesa Suddath Cregg and son in law Allen Kent Cregg of Katy, Texas, and grandsons James Allen Cregg and David Robert Cregg.
Bob’s family moved to South Florida when he was an infant. He graduated from high school in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and immediately joined the US Navy. Bob was selected for officer’s training and was sent to the University of Mississippi where he excelled as a student. He graduated in 1948 with a major in accounting and business administration. During his college years, he met his beloved wife Lee, and was married in 1950.
Bob started his professional career in Mississippi and Tennessee working in the insurance industry but his interest in the real estate business led him back to South Florida in the 1960’s. Bob and Lee, along with their daughter settled happily into life in Miami, Florida. Bob loved the sunshine and the water, and became an avid swimmer. Bob and Lee had a fun and active social life and were members of the Coral Gables Country Club for over 20 years. They were long term members of Granada Presbyterian Church and The University of Mississippi Alumni Association. Bob was also a man of many talents. He was as comfortable on the dance floor as he was in his wood-working shop. Bob was a craftsman, a singer, and a lover of the great outdoors. In 2013, Bob and Lee left their home in Miami and moved to Katy, Texas to be closer to their daughter, son in law, and grandchildren.
Bob was known as an exceedingly nice, easy going guy who would always lend a hand. He adored his family and was supportive of all of their many activities. He was a faithful, Godly man who was full of integrity.
This good man will be greatly missed.
