Brenda Cain

October 26, 1956 – September 1, 2014

Brenda Cain, 57 years of age, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2014 at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas.

Brenda was a very devoted person and was very close to her family and friends. She was an avid animal lover and shared her home with multiple rescue animals that she adopted along her life’s journey. She lived in New Orleans, Louisiana most of her life and relocated to Katy, Texas for her job with Murphy Oil. Brenda loved her job and treasured the friendships that she developed with her co-workers at Murphy Oil and her fellow students and professors at Belhaven College where she was continuing her business studies.

Brenda joins her mom and dad in heaven and leaves behind her son, John and his family, and her siblings, Terrell, Patricia, Janet, Joe and their families. Her siblings are grateful for the support of her friends at Murphy Oil and her health care providers at Hermann Memorial and MD Anderson.

A memorial service and reception to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday September 13, 2014, 2:00PM at Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, Texas.
