

He was born May 9, 1929 in Houston Texas to Chester and Mittie Bourgeois Sr. Chester graduated from St. Thomas High School in 1947 and enjoyed attending their quarterly luncheon with other graduates and their spouses. He retired after 38 years of service from Western Electric/AT&T and was the supervisor of the electronics department. Chester was an active member of the Epiphany Of The Lord Catholic Community. Chester served several positions including President on the West Memorial Municipal Utility District and was a member of the National Martin Tracking Association up until his death. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing and was always the first to bring a deer home. Chester was an avid sports fan his whole life.
Chester was preceded in death by his parents, beloved daughter, Andrea Bragg; and sister Rachel Parrino. He is survived by his loving life partner, Margaret Curry; daughter, Dr. Vanessa and husband Dr. Michael Ash; son, Jason Bourgeois; son in law, Jerry Bragg; and a host of other family and friends. Chester was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.
