

Evans was born on November 9, 1962, in Bamenda, Cameroon, to the late Joseph Ndopu Alomepe and Magdalene Nana Alomepe. He grew up in the vibrant community of Old Town Mankon, Bamenda, and later moved to Ndu. His childhood was marked by close family bonds and a deep sense of community. He attended several schools in Cameroon, including PS Azire, PSS Batibo, and CPC Bali. Evans pursued further education at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point in the United States, where he began to build the foundation for his life and career.
Evans was a dedicated and hardworking individual with many talents. He held various roles throughout his life, including working as a Manager at Target, a General Contractor, and a businessman. Evans was known for his integrity, work ethic, and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He was also deeply committed to supporting his community and was involved in many charitable activities over the years.
Evans was a devoted husband and father. He was once dedicated to his wife, Jacqueline and his four loving children: Beverly (29), Bevan (27), Devon (22), and Jayden (11). He was a beloved brother to Judith Atang, Robbie Ngochi, Carole Alomepe, Pamela Ndoh, Tita Alomepe, Geraldine Valdez, and Peter Alomepe. He was predeceased by his parents, Ma and Pa Alomepe, as well as his brother, Solomon, and sisters, Mary Kumase and Rosemary Che.
As the head of the Alomepe family since 1986, Evans played a pivotal role in guiding and supporting his extended family. He will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to the well-being of his loved ones.
Evans had many interests that brought him joy. He was an avid dancer and singer, and he loved playing soccer and fishing. He was a fan of Western movies and enjoyed traveling, often taking trips with his family and friends. One fun fact about Evans was that he was also a DJ, bringing music and joy to many events. His warmth, sense of humor, and infectious laughter made him a beloved figure in his community.
Evans was a man of deep faith who lived his life with love, humility, and joy. He was a devoted Christian who drew strength from his relationship with God, and he was known for his kindness and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
