Kandy Ann Faske

It is with a heavy heart that Kandy Ann Faske of Katy, Texas passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday July 16th 2025 at the age of 67. She was born to the late Mabel Mae and Kenneth Earl Nelson on July 3rd, 1958, in Salida Colorado.

She married Allen Dean Faske on November 13th, 1976, and they lived together in Katy, Texas for 40 years. Kandy is survived by her three children, their spouses and her grandchildren, Shayna D Moehrle, Brandon L Moehrle, Quinton S Faske, Ashleigh K Faske, Chase A Faske, Rissa L Faske, Cameron C Barker, Paisley A Faske, Everleigh R Faske, Callaway J Aiken and Malcom J Aiken. She is also survived by her sister Rita G Miller. Kandy was predeceased by her parents Mabel and Kenneth Nelson and her brother William D. Nelson.

Kandy was an amazing person whose love and warmth touched every life she encountered. She was a devoted wife, protective mother and a proud grandmother who cherished her family above all else. Kandy had a deep love for dogs, and her compassion for animals reflected her gentle soul. She found peace in nature-especially when fishing by the water or walking along the beach or tending to her abundance of plants, places that always brought her joy. Her strength, kindness and sense of humor will be missed.

A visitation will be held at Katy Funeral Home, located at 23350 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77494, on July 23, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The funeral service will follow at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A reception will be held at Katy Funeral Home from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.

Committal services are scheduled at Magnolia Cemetery, 6801 Franz Rd, Katy, TX 77493, at 2:00 pm.
