Lily Mae Gongora

Lily Mae Gongora, age 85, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Lily was born on June 26, 1939, in San Antonio, Texas. Lily met and married the love of her life, Gasper Gongora Jr. Gasper and Lily were married for 66 years and cherished spending time with their family.

Lily was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Lily's passion for sewing led her to establish Casa de Lily’s Draperies, a successful business for over 25 years as a testament to her talent and dedication.

Lily is survived by her husband, Gasper Gongora Jr., and their children: Ronald Gongora (Pamela Wilson), Karen Roth (Harvey Roth), Kathy Urbani (John Urbani), sister: JoAnn Martinez (Theresa Martinez), brothers: Robert Martinez (Helen Martinez) and Gilbert Martinez. Lily is also survived by her grandchildren, Stacey LeBlanc (George LeBlanc), Lindsey Wilson (John Wilson), Samantha Gongora, Izabella Urbani and Ross Urbani, great-grandchildren, Kirtley LeBlanc, Kennedy LeBlanc, Elliott Wilson and Lacie Wilson.

Lily is preceded in death by her parents: Cardulo Martinez and Fidela Martinez, brothers: George Martinez and Rudolpho Martinez.

Lily will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, loyalty, and care will endure forever.
