

Margaret was born January 24, 1923 in Honolulu, HI. She lived most of her life in Pearl City where she and her husband Kam Kee (Kammy) raised their four children. In her later years she moved to Mililani, HI, Keaau, HI, and eventually resided in Katy, TX to be closer to her daughter.
Margaret retired from Pearl Harbor Naval Supply Center with 25 years of service. She was known for always helping others and treating everyone like family. She was a fantastic cook, and she loved to garden, bowl and travel. She lived a wonderful and full life.
She is survived by: sons Lorren (Jin Sook) of Mililani, HI and Kelvin (Cheryl) of Aiea, HI, daughter Nani (John) Hodgson of Katy, TX, son-in-law Timothy Wingate of North Bend, OR, and daughter-in-law Avis Hee of Honolulu, HI
12 grandchildren: Christopher (Hanae) Matsuo of Honolulu, HI, Cami Miyakado (Randy Sonoda) of Honolulu, HI, Christen (Derek) Lincoln of Keaau, HI, Shelly Wingate of North Bend, OR, Joshua (Christine) Hee of Elkhorn, NE, Cheyenne (Brandon) Hashida of Henderson, NV, Jesse (Yuki) Hee of Huffman, TX, Natasha (Kevin) Nagatoshi of Kapolei, HI, Tyler Hee of Aiea, HI, Nohealani Hee of Aiea, HI, Courtney Hodgson of Katy, TX, and Summer Hodgson of Katy, TX

Brothers Alfred Lee, Richard (Karen) Lee; in-laws Sandra Lee, Charlotte Lee, Emma Lau, Bernice Yee, Charles Hee, Edward (Jane) Hee, and Roy (Nancy) Heu, many nieces and nephews,
Margaret is preceded in death by her loving husband Kammy, daughter Oarlene Wingate, and sons-in-law Larry Matsuo and Dan Wedemeyer.
Until the day she passed away, Margaret was a humble woman and a tower of strength. We will always remember her words of “God Bless you and you take care”.
We would like to thank the caregivers at Atria Cinco Ranch for their kindness and love they gave Margaret.
At a future date Margaret will be returned to her birthplace of Honolulu, HI. Her final resting place will be at Punchbowl, the National Memorial Veteran Cemetery of the Pacific, where she will join her husband, Kammy.
