Margarida Frigério Gresswell

Margarida Frigério Gresswell, a beloved wife and soul-mate, mother, sister, daughter, and aunt, friend to many, has sadly left us. Margarida, Gaida, Gal or simply “Tia” enjoyed life to the very full. Best known for her charitable nature, Gaida was guided by her faith to put the needs of others before her own. Gaida was always there with her beautiful smile, her comforting embrace and encouraging demeaner for all those that needed it.

Gaida loved nature, particularly her garden that was always full of color and life. It was only one of her many projects, each more beautiful than the next and unique to her character. Her most recent project was a little piece of paradise on her family farm. A space for reunion where all would be welcome. It is also a place for celebration. Gaida loved to host parties, gifting us all with unforgettable experiences.

One of eleven children, Gaida was born in Nova Venécia, Espírito Santo, Brazil and was brought up on the banks of the Cricaré River. The Catholic community of Pip-Nuk molded her in to the beautiful, faithful, brave, strong woman that we all had the fortune of knowing. Gaida was a school teacher in rural Brazil when she met Adam in 1990. A true story of love at first sight in the beach town of Guriri. They were happily married on the 14th December 1991.

Gaida was a wonderful mother, friend and counsellor to Isabella, Gabriela and Michael. Her children not only inherited her charitable and caring nature but also her strong faith in the Lord. In teaching them how to pray, Gaida ensured that they would find eternal comfort in the arms of Our Lady, Mother of all children, when she could no longer be physically present in their lives. There is no greater comfort to all of us than knowing that Margarida is at peace in the company of the Lord Jesus Christ in a beautiful garden in Heaven.

Margarida leaves behind her husband Adam, three children Isabella, Gabriela and Michael, mother Luzia, brothers Ailton, Adauto, Antonio, José Eduardo, sisters Maria, Anna, Zélia and Rosana and many many beloved friends. She will be joining her father Augusto and brother Carlos in Heaven.

Margarida Frigério Gresswell, esposa amada e alma gêmea, mãe, irmã, filha, tia e amiga de muitos, infelizmente nos deixou. Margarida, Gaida, Gal ou simplesmente “Tia” aproveitou plenamente a vida.

Conhecida por sua natureza caridosa, Gaida era guiada por sua fé e colocava as necessidades dos outros antes de suas próprias. Gaida estava sempre presente com seu lindo sorriso, abraço confortante e atitude encorajadora para todos aqueles que dela necessitava.

Gaida amava a natureza, particularmente seus jardins, que sempre estavam cheios de cores e vida. Esse era apenas um de seus vários projetos, cada um mais bonito que o outro, sempre único como seu caráter. Seu mais recente projeto foi um pequeno pedaço de paraíso na fazenda de sua família. Um espaço para reuniões onde todos seriam bem-vindos, sendo também um lugar de celebrações. Gaida amava organizar festas, nos presenteando com experiências inesquecíveis.

Uma entre onze crianças, Gaida nasceu em Nova Venécia, Espírito Santo, Brazil e foi criada às margens do rio Cricaré. A comunidade católica de Pip-Nuk tornou-a uma mulher bonita, cheia de fé, corajosa e forte que todos nós tivemos a sorte de conhecer. Gaida era professora em uma escola rural quando conheceu Adam em 1990; uma verdadeira história de amor à primeira vista na bonita cidade de Guriri. Casaram-se em 14 de Dezembro de 1991.

Gaida foi uma mãe maravilhosa, amiga e conselheira de Isabella, Gabriela e Michael. Seus filhos não só herdaram sua natureza caridosa e cuidadosa, como também sua forte fé em Deus. Ensinando-lhes a rezar, Gaida certificou-se de que eles encontrariam conforto eterno nos braços de Nossa Senhora, Mãe de todas as crianças, quando ela não mais pudesse estar fisicamente presente em suas vidas.

Não há conforto maior em saber que Margarida está em paz na companhia de Jesus Cristo em um lindo jardim no Paraíso.

Margarida deixa seu marido Adam, três filhos: Isabella, Gabriela e Michael; sua mãe Luzia; irmãos: Ailton, Adauto, Antonio e José Eduardo; irmãs: Maria, Anna, Zélia e Rosana; e incontáveis amigos amados. No paraíso, ela se junta à seu pai Augusto e irmão Carlos.
